Southwest Airlines blocks access by most on-line booking systems to its lowest web and promotional fare categories. Via a special arrangement with the airline, our upgraded system now has complete access to ALL Southwest fares, including web and promotional fares. To use this feature, you’ll need to be logged into the system (remember that you can now do a regular flight/fare search without logging in) – then follow the instructions listed below.

• You'll note that the search results include Southwest Airlines flights and fares if they are active in that market.  These results represent the published fares only and may be the lowest available fares. However, to see any Southwest web or promotional fares available based on the parameters of your search; click on the SWABIZ logo in the upper right corner of the search results page.
• This will connect our system to the Southwest booking site and open and inset screen showing available fares.
• If you would like to book any of these fares, select the fare category and flight you wish and confirm the booking.
• Our system will then interact with the Southwest site to process ticketing which will be handled like any other booking including post-ticketing services such as fare re-checks and schedule change advisory.
• If you have a Southwest Rapid Rewards frequent flyer number in your profile, it will automatically be applied to the booking so that you receive full credit for the flights.
• Since you now have the ability to view and select any Southwest fares we will discontinue our process of manually checking all on-line Southwest bookings against the airline’s site for availability of lower web or promotional fares.

We are very pleased to note that we have one of the only on-line booking systems in the industry with this capability. We will deploy this design as needed should other airlines at some point take the same approach as Southwest of withholding access to web or promotional fares.
